IEC 80001: Collaboration for Safe, Secure & Effective Networked Technology

Abstract

Based on the recently published book from AAMI, "Getting Started with IEC 80001: Essential Information for Healthcare Providers Managing Medical IT-Networks," this session will cover critical requirements of the IEC 80001-1 standard, as well as focus on the strong need for collaboration by all stake holders - including CE & IT - in order to establish and maintain safe, secure and effective medical IT-networks.
