Support for Surgical Robotics in Hospitals
Abstract
As robotic systems become more common in hospitals, questions arise as to how these systems are supported after purchase and beyond. How involved can clinical engineering become and what are the expectations when working with robotics vendors. Scenarios from full robotic systems to the manipulation of cardiac catheters will be covered along with discussions on existing systems and their current support scenarios.
